Will Sen. Klobuchar's Antitrust Bill Be Strong Enough to Rein in Big Tech?


The senior U.S. senator from Minnesota has unveiled the “American Innovation and Choice Online Act,” a bill that would prohibit tech platforms from giving preference to their own services and products. The aim is to create more competition for Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple and other similar companies. Though tech antitrust is a bipartisan affair, does this legislation have enough votes in the Senate to pass? A vote could happen this summer.
