The James Webb Space Telescope Sends Back Its First Image
It’s the moment astronomers and scientists have been waiting for. After decades of planning, engineering and launching, the James Webb Space Telescope made its way into space. Seven months after the historic event, we now have the first full-color photo beamed back to Earth, showing stars and galaxies as they appeared more than 13 million years ago.
