NASA's Ingenuity Defies Expectations on Mars


The U.S. space agency must be on cloud nine these days, and not because of the images from the James Webb Space Telescope. It seems the Mars mission is a success, especially with Ingenuity. The compact helicopter has set so many records in its year-long trek across the red planet, including the longest and fastest flight. It has flown more than 31 times — NASA planned for five! Now it’s going to hibernate through Mars’ harsh winter, but is it curtains for Ingenuity’s mission?
